From tracking new scent every morning and afternoon ... to getting her sprints and running in ... Sadie loves this field. If she had her way, there would be 4-5 walks per day instead of the normal 2-3.
After about 4 hours of Sadie's 'stare down' to walk ... we went outside but not for a walk. Only the bloodhounds needed to relieve themselves. When they saw me put on my down parka they thought it was normal routine. On their own they realized it was too cold for any kind of walk. …
But that doesn't mean Heidi changed her winter hibernation. Sadie ran and tracked scent, and Stella was in her own world.
Sadie did a lot of nose exploration this morning but with perfect temps and no wind, she got in her morning run. With snow predicted for later this afternoon, that might mean another blog post and more photos later today.
While Heidi kept care of the house as usual in cold weather, the bloodhounds were having a lot of fun this morning.
